The boys from Larimer Square have been making us wait seemingly forever for LoHi SteakBar to open in the former North Star space at 3200 Tejon. Their last neighborhood venture (beyond Larimer Square) was the wildly successful Billy’s Inn, which has been packing them in since its opening.
Like Billy’s, the LoHi SteakBar has undergone a complete makeover. In fact, a complete transformation. It is now light and airy, with ceilings that never stop — a far cry from the cavernous feeling of North Star Brewery. LoHi SteakBar opens for dinner tonight, and starting July 11th will open at 11 a.m. for lunch and brunch.
