Nearly a year ago, designers Tricia Hoke, Deb Henriksen, Jose Duran and Lisa Elstun put their heads together and created Red Drinks, a monthly get-together when local folks in the fashion/design field could mingle, network and share ideas. It’s been going strong ever since, and after a holiday hiatus, Red Drinks is back for another round of first-Tuesday soirees, featuring — you guessed it — red drinks at happy-hour prices (as well as free Two Fisted Mario’s pizzetta bites) in a fashion-forward atmosphere.

Expect to see and be seen and dress accordingly for tonight’s edition, which runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The evening includes a presentation by featured guests Kathy Bacon and Mona Lucero, representatives of the just-forming Fashion Association of Denver, an organization designed to both unify the local fashion scene and advocate for it.

Does that sound like a good idea? Come to Mario’s Double Daughters’ Salotto tonight. For more information, visit the Red Drinks fan page on Facebook..
