Autumn means crunchy leaves and golden sunshine, frosty mornings and the annual Fall Studio Sale at the EvB Studio storefront that clay artist Marie Gibbons calls her home away from home. And it’s all good, especially the sale, which begins tomorrow and runs through Sunday.

Gibbons will greet folks in a studio full of droll vessel figures, stunning wall pieces and a new line of molded clay jewelry that’s been fired, blackwashed and colored; also in the house will be a Not Your Babies Dolls line of assemblage dolls by Marie’s daughter, local fashion designer Haley Mariah Gibbons. These must be seen to be believed in all their cute-and-creepy glory, and some of them are animated, as demonstrated in the following video.

EvB Studio will be open from 3 to 8 p.m.on Thursday and Friday, when the sale will be exclusive for locals who drop in; shopping hours are from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, but Gibbons will also open the sale to online buyers.
