Tonight is your chance to check out the Kinsey drag divas in person at Condoleezzapalooza, a benefit for Boulder Pride at the Fox Theatre, 1135 13th Street in Boulder. “The premise is that we are a singing group; the original fifth member of the group, Condoleezza, was our piano player. She’s left the group, and we are now struggling to earn enough money to pay off our debts so we can quit our career in show business.
“Our musicality is top-notch, our comedy is top-notch, and our hair is frightful,” Rachel concludes. And yes, she’s biased — but the New York Times claims the Sicks have “voices sweet as birdsong,” so the show is certainly worth the price of admission ($15 to $22, or $50 for the VIP lounge meet-and-greet).
