As a wholesale jewelry merchant, Is Art doesn’t generally open its doors to the public. But that changes today with the Wearable Art Sale — aptly named, because the beautiful baubles are equally at home in a fine-art display case or enhancing your own natural loveliness. “It’s huge,” says Is Art’s Stephanie Ostrow. “It’s overstock merchandise. A lot of the styles that we sell are limited editions, especially from Ayala Bar. She only makes her styles for six months and then discontinues them, so they’re collector’s pieces. You don’t see them everywhere.”

Stop by Is Art at 7808 Cherry Creek Drive South, #111, today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; admission is free, plus you can expect to see deeply discounted prices — between fifty to seventy percent off what you’d pay retail. Call 303-873-6553.
May 16-18, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., 2008
