When the folks at Ballet Nouveau Colorado started brainstorming fundraiser ideas, they wanted to make sure they put the fun in fundraising. The result? Scavenger Nouveau, a team scavenger hunt that starts tonight at 6 p.m. at the Magnolia Ballroom, 818 17th Street, then heads to LoDo before it wraps up at Below Bar, 1422 Larimer Street. In between, participants will stop at H Burger Co., the Drink, Union Station and many other places to scavenge and take photos.
“Everyone will get lanyards that tell them which route they’ll be going on their specific hunt and which tasks they perform at each venue they hit,” explains Eleni Grove, Ballet Nouveau’s communications manager. “We have a lot of fun venues and bars and restaurants and sites along the way. We anticipate that at least one person per team will have a smartphone, so we’ll ask people to e-mail all of their photos to a designated gmail account we’ve created. We’ll compile everything on our end and project the photos at the final party.”
