Many of Denver’s smaller companies got together last week to talk about recent developments on the local theater scene, and how they could work together better. The conversation was largely positive, attendees reported.
But Jack didn’t see it that way.
The theater is dead in this one-horse cowtown. Anyone with even a modicum of taste and refinement is getting out of town before you beer-swilling losers stink up the place. If i want refinement I’ll go where I always do. Vail.
Is Vail more refined than Denver? Or just more high-altitude high-falutin’? What does local theater need to not just survive, but thrive?
