How is this year different from all other years at the Mizel Center for Arts and Culture? The former Leah Cohen Festival of Jewish Books and Authors, the organi-zation’s long-running annual combination Jewish book fair and author series, has morphed into the Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music Festival, a kosher cul-ture feast of everything Judaic under the sun. And its title couldn’t be more succinct: The JAAMM Fest features a little taste of everything.
Along with the esteemed book bazaar, which thankfully returns for its usual two-week run, a kaleidoscope of events, concerts and gallery shows continue through November 9 at the center, 350 South Dahlia Street, in the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center. Admission to films and most author lectures is $6 to $8 (prices vary for music events); go to www.maccjcc.org or call 303-316-6360 for details, a complete schedule and tickets.
