After a month’s delay and a location change to the JW Marriott because of weather, Cherry Creek North finally delivered “Celebrate Fashion,” a winning show that benefited the Denver Health Foundation. On Friday night, the ballroom was packed with loyal shoppers and dignitaries who cheered for their favorite retailers — but the loudest show of appreciation was for the two mini-models, wearing kid’s fashions from Young Colors and Little Me’s.

Cherry Creek North’s fourteen retailers did not disappoint. Highlighting the best fall fashions, including fur, each retailer skillfully showed off the palette of the season: neutrals, gray/silve and black paired with pops of red and burgundy; the vibrant jewel tones were blinding against the black glitter runway.
Make-up and hairstyles varied from sexy bedroom eyes and hair to match, to low ponytails, side-sweeps and braids with jewel-toned eye shadow, to sexy curls paired with a neutral face. The highlights of the accessories were ankle boots: Almost every model wore them, and every style was represented, from mesh, to open toe, suede to leather, stiletto to kitten heels.
