From Facebook to Vine, social media is changing the way we follow news. At the 2013 Westword Web Awards, we’ll celebrate the people and organizations that use it best — and we want your help finding them.
There are two ways you can help us pick this year’s winners.
Between now and November 1, go to our web poll and nominate your favorite Denver Tweeters, bloggers, Instagrammers and more in 26 categories, including Best Journalist on Social Media, Best Sports Blog and Best Westword Commenter. Your suggestions will help decide who takes home 2013’s top honors. You can nominate in as many or as few categories as you like.
Fancy yourself a filmmaker? We’re also looking for the best Denver- and Colorado-related Vine videos in news, as well as the arts, music, and food. Entering is easy: Post your videos with the hashtag #DenWeb2013, and we’ll invite our favorites to an awards ceremony at Galvanize on December 5 to compete for top honors in front of a live audience.
