With fall in full swing, boots are hitting the streets. This week we spotted Dr. Marten on trend for both guys and girls. Read on to find out about the street styles of Max Jackson and Piper Shepherd, who’re both rocking Dr. Martens.

We saw cashier Max Jackson near the Capitol, sported a spray-painted stencil of one of his favorite bands, Serial Killer Sunday School. The punk aesthetic inspires his look year-round, not just in the fall. “My family gave me these boots as a gift,” says Jackson. “I usually don’t pay for clothes. I find things around, like this vest I found in the trash,” he says. His black Dr. Martens are a staple of punk fashion. These oxblood beauties belong to budding comedienne Piper Shepherd, spotted near the movie theater on the 16th Street Mall. “I love a boot with support, and I know that these boots will last me years, not months,” explains Shepherd.
