If charges against him are true, Sgt. Brian Kelly Wells, who’s stationed at Fort Carson, wanted to have sex with an underage girl so badly that he was willing to drive all the way from Colorado Springs to Adams County to get it.

Instead, what he got was busted.

According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, Wells, who’s 28, arranged the rendezvous with an Adams County deputy who was posing as jailbait. Following a monster commute, he knocked on the door of a home where he thought a young girl would be waiting and was promptly arrested. To add an extra touch of creepiness, he was wearing his uniform at the time.

Wells was subsequently charged with multiple felonies — Internet luring of a child, Internet sexual exploitation of a child and attempted sexual assault on a child — and turned over to Fort Carson military police. Bet the ride back to the Springs seemed even longer than the one getting there.
