Do you like Fat Tire? How about Ranger IPA?

If so, you’ll be getting more of both in February when New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins releases both beers in sixteen-ounce cans. The two beers will be the brewery’s first tallboys and they’ll be among the first to be produced in Colorado.

New Belgium is also working on a recipe for a brand new beer, which will designed and marketed specifically for the sixteen-ounce package, says brewery spokesman Bryan Simpson. The name and style of that beer haven’t yet been released.

Oskar Blues is also planning to can tallboys of its Great American Beer Festival-award winning Deviant Dale’s IPA and release them next year. Two smaller Colorado breweries, Eddyline and Dolores River, already make tallboys.
