Job market got you down? Sick of begging for jobs for which you’re overqualified? Well, perk up: You could be earning $50,000 as the Vice President of Pop Culture for popchips.
The chip company recently launched a campaign to find a sidekick for Ashton Kutcher, the popchips President of Pop Culture. The new VP will assist Kutcher in creating social-media content for the company and serve as an on-location reporter for pop culture events.
Candidates well-versed in pop culture and social media can apply by submitting a video outlining their candidacy on the popchips Facebook page through March 2. A video for the campaign features Kutcher and a foreign guy from the Jimmy Kimmel Live show driving around in a Prius; it seems to have very little to do with chips.
After popchips weeds through the thousands of videos of teenage girls screaming “I love you, Ashton!,” fans will vote on the candidates, and then Kutcher and popchips will have the final say on March 14. No word on whether the VP will have any authority over celebrities, but there are probably some free chips thrown in.
