Not like anyone ever needs any excuse to eat ice cream — especially when it’s been hotter than hell outside — but if you’re feeling guilty anyway, stop. Panzano is partnering with Hotel Monaco, 1717 Champa Street, to host an Ice Cream Social tonight from 5 to 7 p.m., where you can enjoy house-made ice cream for $2, with all proceeds benefiting the local Dress for Success affiliate. It’ll take place in the lobby of the hotel.
This is part of a nationwide Dress for Success benefit by Kimpton restaurants and hotels, and each location will offer a signature ice-cream flavor. Panzano’s Elise Wiggins has created Raspberry Success, homemade raspberry gelato with oatmeal-cookie crumbs. Mouth watering yet?
