Today may — or may not — be National Cocoa Day (both January 31 and December 12 are claimed by National Hot Chocolate Day. But either way, EDGE Restaurant & Bar, 1111 14th Street, is giving you reason to celebrate, offering free hot chocolate today from 2 to 4 p.m.
Any patron who says “Santa’s little helper” to a server will be rewarded with a complimentary cup of cocoa; and for an additional $5, adults can get a splash of alcohol in their beverage.
Participants in the giveaway will also be “branded” with an EDGE sticker, which can be redeemed at the bar for a free glass of house wine anytime after 5 p.m. (today only).
