Ole! The former Luciano’s space at 1043 Broadway will not become Pizza Pizza, as was rumored last fall, but Ole, which promises “Italian with a Brazilian kick!” (Which means it’s no relation to the Ole in Commerce City, a Mexican joint.)

This is just one of several restaurants with a south-of-the-border flavor moving into the neighborhood. Curt Sims will open Cantina at 1109 Lincoln Street next month; another Mexican spot is moving into the former home of Japoix, at 975 Lincoln.
And there’s no shortage of Italian, either. DiFranco’s and Attivo Pizza & Subs both opened in the Beauvallon building last year.
