It’s a thought that haunts the over-stimulated, over-movied imagination: a school of hungry piranhas eating you alive.
And while our Café writer Jason Sheehan would have preferred that fate to the time he spent at the restaurant inside the Downtown Aquarium (see “Finding Nemo,” his 2005 review), staff writer Joel Warner was merely concerned that someone could lose a finger in the uncovered piranha tank there.
But when he tried to get to the bottom of this fishy situation, as he reports in our Latest Word blog, the Denver aquarium was unequipped to handle piranha attacks or reporter queries.
