Models, artists and photographers have been flocking to Denver Face Paint and Body Art Jam events, where the artists paint the models’ bodies and faces, and then the photographers capture images of the works and share them with everyone. The collaboration showcases the myriad possibilities that exist when you use the human body as a canvas.
And now the Jam is about to get even sweeter, because organizers have partnered with Mountain Air Ranch — the Front Range’s premier family-friendly nudist resort — for an epic outdoor, all-day body-art festival. “It’s really a lot of fun,” promises Carla Gurovich, one of the event’s planners. “There will be all kinds of bodies there, and anyone who wants a small or large part of their body painted can come.”
Is that you? Head to Mountain Air Ranch, 8796 South Mica Mine Gulch Road in Littleton, from 1 to 5 p.m. today for the jam. At the door, tell ’em that you’re coming for the jam, then register and note whether you’re comfortable having your photo taken. (There will be a photo-free area for those who aren’t.) Admission is free; visit trynude.com to learn more.
