Are Colorado sports personalities literally falling apart? Certainly seems that way. On Friday night, Nuggets supermascot Rocky passed out while being lowered to the Pepsi Center floor. Then, on Sunday, longtime John Elway backup Gary Kubiak, who went on to become a Denver assistant coach before being hired to helm the Houston Texans, collapsed while walking off the field at halftime of Sunday Night Football and news broke that current Broncos head man John Fox will soon be undergoing heart surgery.
Fortunately, Rocky and Kubiak are said to be doing okay, and the prognosis is good for Fox, although he’ll miss several games. Look below to see videos spotlighting all three scary stories.
