Dozens of breweries and hundreds of craft-beer fans came together Saturday for the first-ever Collaboration Fest, hosted by Imbibe Denver and the Colorado Brewers Guild. The event, at the Curtis Hotel, included nearly fifty collaborative beers from breweries all over the state, as well as a few in other states and even a foreign country (Sweden).
The fest was the kickoff for Colorado Craft Beer Week, which continues with tap takeovers, beer dinners, meet-and-greets and other events through next weekend (you can find some details in our Beer Calendar and the rest at coloradocraftbeerweek.com).

The collaboration included everything from an all-female cast of Colorado Springs brewers to a roundup of several current and former brewers for the Mountain Sun and Vine Street Pub breweries, to a pairing between the Epic and Elevation breweries.
