The tiger has been acting a little strange lately, but so has the bear. In fact, neither of these characters, or any other cereal-promoting mascot, can be ruled out in the murder of the much-loved Tasty Flakes Rabbit, and it’s going to be up to you and a team of four or five people to solve the mystery in the fourth annual Murder on Broadway, an interactive game and scavenger hunt taking place today.
Participants will begin at 3 Kings Tavern, 60 South Broadway, where they’ll have a chance to view the crime scene before fanning out and searching for suspects at various venues along South Broadway. These are the same characters we’ve all seen shilling cereal at the grocery store, and team members will have to grill them for answers. As soon as those answers are secured, teams will return to 3 Kings; the top three will take home prizes donated by local businesses.
“It’s for people who like to challenge themselves, who might be avid readers or mystery writers,” says Laura Levi of Metro Denver Promotion of Letters, which holds the Murder mayhem every year as a fundraiser.
