Thank God! After all the anticipation, we were worried that The Book of Mormon — written by hometown boys Matt Stone and Trey Parker — wouldn’t live up to the hype, and we’d be disappointed by their Broadway show on this first stop on its road tour.

But Mormon is a godsend, and gets a rave in this review by Juliet Wittman.

But not all were as lucky in getting tickets. Says Becky:

Wouldn’t know. Wasted an entire Saturday trying to get tix. Why such a short run in the home state?

Take heart in the fact that Mormon will be back in October 2013. And in the meantime, the lottery continues, with 24 seats for each sold sold for $25 each to winners of a lottery that starts two and a half hours before each production; line up outside the Ellie.
