At the Denver Public Library’s November Frock Out designer showcase, guest judge (and beloved local Project Runway runnerup) Mondo Guerra let a few cats out of the bag: He’s staying in Denver because “it’s our time;” after coming out as HIV-positive on Runway, he hopes to use his new fame to spread the word about the continuing global AIDS epidemic; and, pertinant to that, with help from the Gap’s Piper Lime, he’d release two new limited edition t-shirts today, World AIDS Day. True to his word, the t-shirts are now available at Piper Lime’s website, and you’ll have to act fast to get one: There are only 300 of each. $20 of every purchase (the shirts are $50) benefits amfAR.
