What with all the beautiful people, political powerhouses and talking heads invading the city during the Democratic National Convention, it’s natural for some of us locals to feel a little left out. Where’s our DNC party, you might be asking yourself?

Rock the Vote is planning on stopping buy to encourage revelers to register to vote (and every person who registers gets a voucher for a free shampoo at Floyd’s) while the Hot IQs and the Epilogues rock out in their own way. Jimmy John’s is providing complimentary hors d’ouevre (yum!); Vitamin Water/Energy and Fuze Healthy Infusion will give out delicious drinks; there will be expertly mixed cocktails featuring 42 Below Vodka; and if you have a hankering to see your party affiliation etched on your skin for eternity, then be sure to check out the live tattoos by Inferno Tattoo and Body Piercing.
