Grab your phasers, glue on those pointy ears and practice, practice, practice that new Klingon phrase, because Trek 5280: Starfleet International Conference is beaming down to the Adam’s Mark Hotel, 1550 Court Place, tonight at 7 p.m.
The four-day event includes four “Away Missions” to Coors Field for the Cubs/Rockies series, a poker tournament benefiting the National Jewish Medical Research Center, a Federation Ball (costumes optional) complete with Orion Slave Girl dancers, a social mixer with special guests and a multitude of panel discussions ranging from “Native Americans and the Trek Philosophy” to “Are We Alone?”
Featured guests include Tim Russ (“Tuvok” from Star Trek: Voyager), two members of the National Space Society, performer Andy Wolf, who appeared in Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming, and paranormal expert Jessica Harris.
