After almost three years as publisher of Westword, Jim Rizzi has moved on to become publisher of SF Weekly, a recent acquisition of New Times Inc., Westword’s parent company.
Replacing Rizzi as Westword publisher is Amy Cobb. After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1988, she started at the paper as an account executive, later moving up to become general sales manager and then advertising director.
Ed Nader steps up from his position as senior account executive to assume the post of advertising director. A three-year veteran of Westword, Nader is a University of Denver graduate.
Also taking on a new role at Westword is Jayne Schlageter. She came to the paper in 1990 upon graduation from Colorado State University, working her way up from sales assistant to account manager to operations manager before assuming the title of general sales manager.

“These are exciting times in Denver and at Westword,” says Cobb. “We have a healthy circulation of 110,000, an excellent staff and a wonderful city to write about.”
