Green beer, St. Paddy’s Day, blah, blah, blah. Why not try something besides Guinness or Coors Light dyed green this year? FreshCraft will be pouring $4 Irish Divides (a name it made up), which are similar to black and tans and consist of Great Divide Hoss and O’Hara’s Irish Stout. Also on tap: Irish Red from Breckenridge Brewing and an Irish stout from Pueblo’s Shamrock Brewing Company. Thursday, March 17
The Royal Hilltop, 18581 East Hampden Avenue in Aurora, will have firkins of Left Hand Brewing’s Stranger and Wynkoop Brewing’s Scottish ale in the house. Pints are $4.

What comes around goes around at Avery Brewing in Boulder, which toasts the return of its Karma Belgian-style pale ale — a spring/summer seasonal — at the tap room at 5 p.m.
Dry Dock Brewing in Aurora taps a firkin of Green Chili Double IPA at its weekly Firkin Friday event, starting at 2 p.m. in the newly expanded tap room.

Hops & Pie, 3920 Tennyson Street, holds its March Littlest Big Beer Fest today from 2 to 6 p.m. In the house: Aurora’s Dry Dock Brewing, which will bring HMS Bounty Old Ale, Seven Seas Double IPA, Belgian Dubbel and a firkin of cask-conditioned Coconut Porter. Beer are offered in flights and by the glass (rather than the $30 format from last time).
